Experience and philosophy

Instituut de Leeuw has over 25 years of experience as a homework institute and providing individual tuitions in all school subjects. Our team consists of professional expert tutors, remedial teachers, psychologists, an AD(H)D-expert and performance anxiety coach.

In particular we are specialized in dealing with motivation problems, dyslexia, AD(H)D and Asperger’s syndrome. Our philosophy: every child is different and so is our approach. We customize our coaching to fit the needs of the individual, maintaining motivation as our number one priority. Together with the child we look for the best way to get results. Our enrollment procedure is comprehensive and helps secure the right form of coaching.

Support and responsibility

We offer the environment for pupils to study quietly with the possibility to ask for help when needed. Our goal is to provide a location to study without distractions, develop studying skills and learn children a sense of responsibility for their own achievements, in order to continue schooling independently.

We know how to motivate children. By using internally developed tests we are able to determine the right approach for the individual. We are committed and caring, but also strict, with room for a laugh. Step by step we empower children to be responsible for their own work. This way they discover their potential and are able to face the challenges at school with more confidence.
